Stuffed Bell Peppers with Beef and Pork Rice Dressing

My Mom use to make these for our family back in the 60's & 70's. I wanted to pass along this family tradition. We get plump fresh green peppers, cut them in half and stuff them with seasoned beef, pork, and rice, then top them off with bread crumbs and tomato sauce. All you have to do is cook these pre-seasoned gems in the oven for 45 minutes. They are a very tasty dish...I think Mom would be proud of what we did with her recipe. Arrives partially cooked, all you do is thaw them, slide it in the oven and bake. Feeds 4-8 depending on the serving size. Each tray has 4 peppers.
