Y'all had ask for Cajun Turkey Jerky...and yes we are in Texas, soooo... we decided to add a taste of Texas to our Jerky collection so here's our Jalapeno Beef Jerky. Prepared the same way as our Turkey Jerky but, with a Texas flare. Unlike most Texas Jerky we had to do ours a little different. Instead of smoking it and drying it out so it was thin and chewy...we left a little "meat" on the bones. I guess you might say ours is a "thick" cut jerky. Yes!! It was worth waiting for... Check out our other three flavors Regular Turkey Jerky, Cajun Turkey Jerky, and Red Chile Beef Jerky. Each packs has around 6-7 strips and weighs in at a quarter of a pound.

My Mom use to make these for our family back in the 60's & 70's. I wanted to pass along this family tradition. We get plump fresh green peppers, cut them in half and stuff them with seasoned beef, pork, and rice, then top them off with bread crumbs and tomato sauce. All you have to do is cook these pre-seasoned gems in the oven for 45 minutes. They are a very tasty dish...I think Mom would be proud of what we did with her recipe. Arrives partially cooked, all you do is thaw them, slide it in the oven and bake.
Feeds 4-8 depending on the serving size. Each tray has 4 peppers.
